They'll have an opportunity to talk about the good and not-so-good parts of having a sibling with a disability. They'll also have fun, play games and make new friends. Facilitators of this support group will create a space for siblings to be able to share their feelings with others who understand.
Pair therapy for children of all ages
Pair therapy is a powerful and effective form of relational therapy where two children are matched based on their strengths and challenges. A clinician then works with the pair to foster friendship and create opportunities for them to teach and learn from each other.
