Just for Sibs is an inpatient support program for the siblings of hematology, oncology, neuro-oncology and stem cell transplant patients.
Just for Sibs, a program for siblings between the ages of 5 and 12, will run the second and fourth Thursday of each month from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The group is led by Psych-social Clinicians and Child Life Specialists, and features a dinner, support services and activities geared specifically for siblings of the elementary age. This relaxed setting provides siblings the opportunity to meet other brothers and sisters of patients on these units, have fun, make new friends and talk about having a sibling in the hospital.
