Our pediatric specialists are available to offer second opinions for children diagnosed with a blood disorder by calling 617-355-8246.

Before your second opinion appointment, it is important you provide us with all relevant clinical information regarding your child's initial diagnosis, including:

  • Your child's initial diagnosis and their physician's contact information
  • Written records reporting results from any current blood test
  • Written records reporting the results of blood testing done prior to your child's illness
  • Any other relevant written information you have from other specialists
  • For certain genetic blood diseases, this includes any results of blood testing on parents
