Flower Our Areas of the Hospital
The Hematology Program at Children's Hospital Boston consists of several areas of the hospital's main campus in Boston as well as a satellite office in Lexington. Each of our areas has been created to help make patients and their families more comfortable during their visit or stay at Children's.

Hematology Clinic: Fegan 6

  • Located on the sixth floor of the Fegan building
  • Provides outpatient services such as new patient evaluations, follow-up visits, genetic counseling, education sessions and second opinion consults
Center for Ambulatory Transfusion and Clinical Research (CAT/CR)
  • Located on the fourth floor of the Farley building
  • Patients may receive blood transfusions, diagnostic procedures and infusions of medications at the CAT/CR
Inpatient Units
  • Located on various floors of the Main Building
  • Provides bedside accommodations for one parent if an overnight stay is required
General Clinical Research Center (GCRC)
  • Provides accommodations for children with blood disorders involved in clinical research
Our Lexington Satellite Office
  • Located at Children's Hospital Boston at Lexington
  • Provides outpatient services such as new patient evaluations, follow-up visits, genetic counseling, education sessions and second opinion consults
