Our Areas of the Hospital

Our Areas of the Hospital

The Hematology Program at Children's Hospital Boston consists of several areas of the hospital's main campus in Boston as well as a satellite office in Lexington. Each of our areas has been created to help make patients and their families more comfortable during their visit or stay at Children's.

Hematology Clinic: Fegan 6

Located on the sixth floor of the Fegan building
Provides outpatient services such as new patient evaluations, follow-up visits, genetic counseling, education sessions and second opinion consults

Center for Ambulatory Transfusion and Clinical Research (CAT/CR)

Located on the fourth floor of the Farley building
Patients may receive blood transfusions, diagnostic procedures and infusions of medications at the CAT/CR

Inpatient Units

Located on various floors of the Main Building
Provides bedside accommodations for one parent if an overnight stay is required

General Clinical Research Center (GCRC)

Provides accommodations for children with blood disorders involved in clinical research

Our Lexington Satellite Office

Located at Children's Hospital Boston at Lexington
Provides outpatient services such as new patient evaluations, follow-up visits, genetic counseling, education sessions and second opinion consults
