The Fanconi Anemia and Bone Marrow Failure Multidisciplinary Clinic offers a comprehensive evaluation for new patients or patients and providers seeking a second opinion.
Our Clinic Coordinator arranges the visit which includes the following:
- Confirmation of diagnosis
- Genetic typing
- HLA typing
- Multi-system evaluation
After the exam, the patient's family and referring physician receive a written summary and recommendations. Ongoing care may continue at Children's Hospital Boston or in partnership with the referring physician.
Psychosocial support is also available and is an important part of our long-term care for patients and families.
