VAC Conference
Our team of physicians from 17 different specialty areas at Boston Children's Hospital meets each week to review medical histories, photographs and radiographic images and pathology slides of international and national cases sent to them by referring physicians.
Based on this submitted information, the team provides diagnoses and treatment recommendations and answers specific questions posed to them by physicians and families.
The large volume of patients seen and reviewed each year contributes to our team's expertise and familiarity with the latest treatment options for patients with vascular anomalies.
In addition, the Vascular Anomalies Center Conference serves as a forum for interdisciplinary collaboration and dissemination of information.
