Our programs include:

We provide primary health care to infants and children. This includes immunizations, screening, physical exams and behavior assessments. We also have 24 hour on-call coverage and Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking providers and interpreter services.

Mission and goals

The mission of Children's Hospital Primary Care Center (CHPCC) at Children's Hospital Boston is to provide a broad-based, child- and family-focused, primary care medical home for all children.

Our goals include:

  • providing culturally competent care while addressing racial disparities
  • making sure children's physical and emotional needs and social well-being are met
  • preventing and treating disease
  • providing accessibility, continuity, coordination and advocacy in our programs
We also work to follow the four components of the Children's Hospital Boston's mission which includes compassionate clinical care, research, education and community health initiatives.

Training

Training future clinicians is an important aspect of the CHPCC program. Resident pediatricians and medical students are active participants in the care of our patients.
