A diaphragmatic hernia is a complex health concern and requires long-term follow-up. With that in mind, Children's Hospital Boston established an outpatient clinic to monitor and treat children born with CDH. The clinic, now in its fifteenth year, is led by a multidisciplinary team of pediatric physicians, nurses, and other care providers. Children up to the age of young adulthood -- many treated originally at Children's, others from across the United States and beyond -- are patients of the clinic. The work of the clinic is also contributing to the wider understanding of CDH.
