Flower Pediatric Radiology Fellowship
Our pediatric radiology fellowship program offers broad clinical experience in pediatric radiology and many research opportunities within Harvard Medical School and the Harvard School of Public Health. Detailed information about every aspect of the fellowship program, along with the application, can be found on our fellowship web site: www.bostonpedrad.org or by calling Kate Taylor at 617-355-6163.

Fellows work with our 39 Board-certified faculty members in our state-of-the-art facilities on the second floor of the main hospital building, where we offer:

  • conventional radiology (plain films and fluoroscopy)
  • ultrasound
  • computed tomography (CT)
  • magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
  • nuclear medicine/PET
  • neuroradiology
  • interventional radiology

The first year of fellowship is fully accredited by the ACGME and an elective second year is available. Seven to nine fellows are selected each year; the salary is as a PGY-6 for the first year and junior faculty level for the second.

Fellows have the chance to participate in and lead weekly departmental and interdepartmental conferences, and there is a daily teaching conference each morning and many afternoons. Fellows are encouraged to pursue clinical or basic research in all of the subspecialties; during the optional second year of the fellowship they work for six months as junior faculty and pursue their own research during six months of elective time.
