Summer Student Research Program

A Note from the Directors...
To All Students Interested in the Research and Clinical Aspects of Newborn Medicine:

You are invited to apply to the Summer Student Research Program sponsored by the Division of Newborn Medicine at Children's Hospital Boston, the primary pediatric teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School. The objective of the Program is to provide motivated students with an intensive laboratory and clinical research experience under the guidance of Faculty and Fellow mentors from the Division of Newborn Medicine. The Program experience includes:

  • An 8-12 week program of:
    • Bench, clinical/translational, or epidemiological research
    • Weekly tutorials
    • Observation of newborn care in hospital nurseries, clinics, and NICUs
  • Supervision and guidance provided by faculty and fellow mentors
  • Generous stipends
