Foreign Applicants

Non-U.S. trained physicians and non-U.S. citizen/permanent residents may apply to the training program. Because some sources of training program funding are limited to U.S. citizens/permanent residents, the availability of slots for non-citizens/permanent residents is limited. Applicants should have completed Steps 1 and 2 of the ECFMG at the time of application and be eligible for a license to practice in Massachusetts upon completion of all steps. Applicants who seek to become board eligible in Pediatric Infectious Diseases would have to be board certified in Pediatrics in the United States or Canada, however this is not a requirement for application to the fellowship program.

Selection Process

Applications and supporting material may be submitted through ERAS from November 15, 2012 through February 15, 2013 for positions beginning on July 1, 2014.  Applicants are strongly encouraged to apply as early as possible for optimal consideration.  We are participating in the (NRMP) National Residency Matching Program.  Applicants must register with NRMP prior to interviewing.  Interviews will be primarily scheduled in late December, January, and early February.

Our program encourages applications from under-represented minorities.
