Pap Test Evaluation Clinic
Image The Department of Gynecology at Children's Hospital Boston offers a Pap Test Evaluation Clinic to evaluate and manage abnormal Pap tests.

Patients are referred to our clinic from within Children's and from other health care sites in the greater Boston area.

What is a Pap Test?
A Pap test (sometimes called a Pap smear) is a way to examine cells collected from the cervix, or the "mouth" of the womb (located at the top of the vagina), for the presence of:
  • infection
  • inflammation
  • abnormal cells
  • cancer

Our clinic

We see patients on Tuesday afternoons and Thursday mornings at 333 Longwood Avenue and we are planning to expand our program in 2007.
