Who We Are

Here in the Division of Developmental Medicine, we have assembled a multi-disciplinary team of top researchers from fields ranging from neuroscience, to genetics, to medical informatics and clinical effectiveness.  Together, these scientists are using cutting edge tools to gain a comprehensive understanding of the neurobiological, genetic and psychosocial mechanisms that underlie disorders such as autism, ADHD, and dyslexia. They have also joined forces with other leaders in the field of cognitive development, including researchers from Harvard Medical School, the Broad Institute, and MIT’s Brain and Cognitive Science Department.  Through this collaborative and comprehensive approach, we intend to drive the science forward as rapidly as possible in order to develop new tools and technologies to detect risk markers for a disorder as well as new therapies that can prevent symptom onset.  Ultimately, our aim is to put these innovations into daily clinical practice and set a new standard for quality of care for children with developmental disorders.
