In the Department of Dentistry, our team of dental specialists work together to expand our understanding of the issues confronting oral health care in the next century so that we can better respond to the needs of patients, both today and in the years to come.
Our consistent efforts to improve current technologies through research and implementation have allowed the Department of Dentistry at Children's Hospital Boston to remain in the forefront of pediatric dentistry. Further expanding and refining initiatives set forth by Dr. Losch, our department's founder, we have been able to improve clinical oral health care through the research of a variety of behavior management techniques. Our research and technological advancements have allowed us to provide dental care to a wide range of patients whose needs could not be met within an otherwise typical clinic environment.
