The cost of having rehabilitation services is considerable and we recommend that you become familiar with your insurance plan(s) so that you understand its rules and the services it covers.
Charges for rehabilitation services
There are three separate charges associated with dental rehabilitation services:

  • Facility charges - Includes hospital facility fees and OR costs.
  • Anesthesia charges - Includes fee for anesthesiologist.
  • Dental charges - Includes fee for oral exam and other dental charges.

Facility and anesthesia charges
If dental care is not a covered benefit under your medical insurance plan, your insurer might not pay for any of the medical charges.

If this is the case, we will write a letter on your behalf to your medical insurer in an attempt to obtain prior approval for coverage of the medical portion of the procedure.

Dental charges
Whenever possible we will submit a pre-treatment estimate to your dental insurer to determine approximately what portion of the dental charges may be covered.

We require that you make payment arrangements prior to scheduling your child's procedure regardless of your insurance status.
