The surgeons in the Section of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Children's Hospital Boston provide a full range of pediatric services. Our oral surgeons specialize in evaluation and treatment of temporomandibular joint disorders (TMJ), facial trauma, care of patients with facial and dentoalveolar infections, and the removal of infected, malpositioned or impacted teeth.
Our oral surgeons frequently work in conjunction with our orthodontists in the treatment of patients requiring orthognathic (jaw) surgery. Surgeons in Oral and Maxillofacial section see patients for consultations and procedures in both our Boston and Waltham offices.
