Periodontics

Periodontics is the branch of dentistry specializing in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of periodontal disease. Periodontal diseases are bacterial infections that destroy the attachment fibers and supporting bone that hold the teeth in the mouth. Left untreated, these diseases can lead to tooth loss.

Our periodontist has extensive experience treating pediatric patients requiring periodontal care. This care may involve deep scaling (cleaning), gingival (gum) surgery and the placement of dental implants.

For more information about our services or to schedule an appointment or consultation with Children's periodontics please contact us at: (617) 355-4737
