The General Pediatric Consultation Program is a medical diagnostic clinic for children with unusual or complicated symptoms that need further evaluation. If providers are faced with a patient whose symptoms have defied initial diagnosis and management, or do not fall under one specific subspecialty category, we can provide a second opinion. Providers can refer patients directly and send a copy of previous notes and evaluations.
The staff in the General Pediatric Consolation Program can also help facilitate a referral to particular subspecialists within Children's.
