Dental Care for the Medically Compromised

The Department of Dentistry at Children's Hospital Boston provides a wide variety of care to patients who are medically compromised.

In addition to routine comprehensive care, our services include:
- pre-surgery examinations for children undergoing major medical procedures
- emergency dental services
- full mouth dental rehabilitation (outpatient basis)
- oral hygiene and dietary counseling
- comprehensive cavity protection programs

With a pediatric dental staff comprised of endodontists, periodontists, pediatric dentists, orthodontists, prosthodontists and oral surgeons we are able to provide a wide range of comprehensive care to our patients. We encourage referrals to our department to help service this special group of patients.
