Craniofacial Anomalies Program
Our staff
When your child is diagnosed with a craniofacial anomaly, your entire family may struggle with seemingly endless questions, concerns and a significant emotional toll. Our compassionate health professionals are here to help you at every step of the way.
Here at Children’s, you and your child will be cared for by experts from several key disciplines who work together to develop the best possible treatment plan for your child. Our Craniofacial Anomalies Program includes some of the world’s most experienced neurosurgeons, plastic surgeons, oral and maxillofacial specialists, dentistry professionals, psychologists and social workers. Our strength in these related subspecialties ensures that we fully address every aspect of your child’s care, from initial physical examinations to surgery and follow-up.
Our team is specially trained in surgical and medical procedures for children, with an emphasis on using minimally invasive tests and operations whenever possible.
Children’s is a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School, where all of our physicians have faculty appointments. Just as we continue to provide exceptional patient care and medical expertise, our clinicians are also involved in research that moves us closer to a better understanding of—and treatment for—all deformities of the head and face.
