Craniofacial Anomalies Program

Every year, Boston Children's Hospital treats more than 500 patients—from infants to adults—living with craniofacial anomalies that are either present at birth or sustained later in life, often through trauma or disease.

Drawing from our extensive experience treating people with craniofacial anomalies, we use a multidisciplinary approach to ensure the right treatment for your child's individual symptoms and circumstances.

Members of our Craniofacial Anomalies Program team include:

  • neurosurgeons
  • plastic surgeons
  • oral and maxillofacial surgeons
  • hearing specialists
  • speech therapists
  • dentists
  • psychologists and social workers
  • nursing professionals
  • geneticists
  • otolaryngologists
  • ophthalmologists

Working together, our Craniofacial Anomalies Program team will develop a customized treatment plan that meets your child's physical, emotional and social needs—one that involves you and your family at every step of the way.
