Glossary
Abdominoplasty:
A procedure for those individuals interested in obtaining a flat stomach. This procedure is often referred to as a tummy tuck.
Blepharoplasty:
If your eyes are making you look tired, sad or even older this is the procedure that would best suit you.
Botox:
An injection to ease specific wrinkle lines.
Breast Augmentation:
This procedure is available to those female patients who feel the need to improve the size and shape of their breasts.
Breast Reduction:
The procedure allows oversized breasts to become proportional to the entire body.
Chemical Peel:
Is also known as Chemosurgery, and its purpose is to replenish wrinkled or uneven skin as well as sun-damaged facial skin.
Dermabrasion:
If you wish to have smoother skin, Dermabrasion will help even out those scars you've obtained from accidents or previous surgery.
Facial Implants:
Implants are available for the chin, cheeks and jaw. Their main purpose is bringing the chin/cheekbones into alignment with the whole face, and to buildup the jawline.
Laser Surgery:
If you have damaged area or wrinkles, laser surgery will even out this facial skin.
Lipectomy:
To remove excess skin fat from thighs, arms and the abdomen.
Liposuction:
If you have excess fat somewhere on your body, face or neck, this procedure will eliminate that fat and slim you.
Mastectomy:
Is a procedure to remove your breasts after a diagnosis such as cancer.
Mastopexy:
Also known as a breast lift, can revitalize your breasts by making them firmer and lifting them higher.
Otoplasty:
This procedure consists of either moving the ears closer to the head or reducing their size. Children ages 4-14 make up the population of those patients who undergo Otoplasty. It also available for adults and there are generally no additional risks.
Rhinoplasty:
If you feel that your nose does not suit your face, you may have it re-shaped or re-sized to accommodate your own taste.
Rhytidectomy:
Often known as a facelift, works to remove any excess skin and wrinkles in your face and neck, as well as evening out any loose skin.
Scar Revision:
Not all scars can be completely removed, but we can improve your scar's appearance and make it less noticeable.
