Surgeons from the Center for Robotic Surgery at Children's Hospital Boston perform a wider array of procedures than at any other pediatric hospital in the world.

Our surgeons perform complex reconstructive procedures utilizing minimally invasive techniques, and have worked with engineers and medical device manufacturers to develop and refine the robotic equipment specifically for use in children. In addition, Children's specialists train surgeons from around the world on its use.


	Watch Children's specialists perform an intravesical ureteral reimplantation using robotic surgery to correct VUR in a patient. The team discusses additional procedures that can be carried out using robotic surgical techniques, such as pyeloplasty, continent urinary diversion and bladder augmentation.
