Research and innovation
The Boston HAPPENS Program has been actively involved in many research projects aimed at providing a better understanding of HIV, developing new interventions for at-risk and homeless youth and promoting positive youth development. Current and recent research interests include:
- Youth-oriented HIV counseling and testing
- Primary care and treatment of HIV infected youth
- Mental health services
- Peer outreach and education
- Transition care
- Access to clinical trials
