Flower Your Child's Visit
If your child will be having tests: (Ultrasound, Radiology, and Nuclear Medicine)

You and your child will report to the testing locations in the Main building of Children's Hospital Boston, on the second floor. Your child's tests will almost always be scheduled for the day of the office appointment.

If your child will not be having tests, or if he or she has already had tests:

You and your child will report to the 3rd floor of the Hunnewell building. You will check in at the Urology Department's front desk to sign in and complete insurance information.

A nursing assistant will take your child's height, weight, blood pressure (vital signs), and a possible urine sample.

The urologist will take a complete medical history, examine your child and go over test results with you and your child.

During the visit, the urologist will establish your child's plan of care and determine what type of future visits and tests may need to be done.

At the end of the visit, appointments will be made for follow-up visits within two months, or if surgery is necessary, you will speak with a Surgical Coordinator to schedule.
