The Department of Neurosurgery at Children's Hospital Boston provides highly integrated care for children with diseases and malformations of the brain, spine and nervous system. Despite the damp weather the 2010 NStar Walk for Children's Hospital Boston on Sunday, June 13th was a great success with over 5000 walkers participating!

The Department of Neurosurgery was represented by "Team Neurosurg". Team Neurosurg designated the money they raised to go towards Dr. Benjamin Warf's Fund for Global Research and Training in Pediatric Neurosurgery. Funds will be used for training neurosurgeons from developing countries in the endoscopic treatment of hydrocephalus as well as continuing the research into hydrocephalus prevention and optimum treatment methods in sub-Saharan Africa.
