The delivery of our nursing care program emphasizes collaboration, continuity, planning and education. As part of our professional practice environment care, we assign a primary nurse or primary nurse team to each patient to coordinate his or her care throughout the entire stay at Children's. And, every nurse works as part of a multi-disciplinary team to make sure each and every patient gets effective, compassionate, family-centered care.
