Initial appointment and reappointment to the professional nursing staff is made through the Department of Nursing appointment process.
Professional nursing practice is then evaluated annually, and includes:
Performance review with the responsible supervisor
Performance self-evaluation
Peer appraisal
Written clinical narrative (exemplar)
