Metabolomics and Neurotransmitters in Colonic Motility in Children

Trial Description: The purpose of this study is to evaluate the metabolite profile and neurotransmitters in blood during the performance of the colonic motility study to understand the pathophysiology of constipation in children

Study procedures: children undergoing colon motility studies for clinical indications will undergo blood drawn through the IV during the procedure as part of the study 

Compensation: A $25 gift card will be provided during the procedure.

Recruitment Info: Children from the ages of 8 to 18 years with chronic constipation undergoing colon motility study.
