Salary Information 2008-2009
The salary for the Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellow for the year is $56,000.00
The salary for the Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Fellow for the year is $70,000.00
Benefits
You will be provided with professional liability coverage for the duration of your training by the Controlled Risk Insurance Company (CRICO) Insurance Company of Vermont.
You are eligible for a variety of employee benefits thru Children's Hospital, Boston, including health insurance (family plans are available) or a medical cash out payment (if you have proof of other health insurance), dental insurance, life insurance, and disability insurance.
Time Away
2 weeks per year for vacation and 1 week for educational meetings/conferences
Maternity Leave
Under the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) up to 12 weeks of unpaid leave is allowed. Time away from the Fellowship must be made up and arrangements must be made with and approved by the Program Director.
