How long will my appointment take?
The nature of your condition or injury will determine the length of your appointment. Patients frequently require X-rays, which can add 10 minutes to your visit; these are done at the 319 Longwood Avenue clinic on the 6th floor.
All the doctors and staff at the Division of Sports Medicine work extremely hard to see each patient at their scheduled time and make their visit as enjoyable as possible, but sometimes emergencies occur that require immediate attention from our staff, which may cause your appointment to be delayed.
What should I bring to the appointment?
Please bring previous X-rays, MRIs, CT scans or any other tests that have been done related to your injury or condition. If you wear a brace or other supportive device please bring it with you for evaluation. Lastly, please remember to bring your insurance cards.
What should I wear to my appointment?
Wear shorts if you are having your knee or hip examined. Females may wish to wear a sports bra, tank top or swimsuit under their clothing if they are having their back or shoulder examined.
