Spinal Program

An osteotomy is a surgical procedure where there is controlled breaking or cutting of the bone(s). A spinal osteotomy may be performed in cases where there is significant rigid deformity. In the case of a spinal osteotomy the surgeon will cut through the spinal bone(s) and realign it into the correct position.
