The Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Children's Hospital Boston has an honored tradition of excellence in the care of pediatric and adolescent hip problems.

The Adolescent and Young Adult Hip Program offers internationally-recognized expertise for treating disorders in the nearly mature and young mature hip (age 15 and over).

Young-Jo Kim, MD "Hip" to knee pain
Ten-year-old Katie Brennan has always been active. She participates in several sports throughout the year, including soccer and cross country, and skis most winters. But during soccer season last fall, she began to develop a bit of a limp, complaining of pain in her knee.....
