Mentor a mini-scientist

[ printer-friendly version ]

he Science Clubs For Girls (SCFG), a Cambridge organization devoted to promoting interest in science among girls from kindergarten through 12th grade, is inviting women scientists from Children’s to get involved in their programs. SCFG promotes interest in science among younger girls and offers older girls opportunities for mentorship, technology training and hands-on experience.

The group is hosting an Evening with the Science Club for Girls, on Friday, May 16 from 4 to 6:30 p.m., at MLK School in Cambridge. The Girls from
the program will demonstrate their work and experiments, and need an audience for
encouragement and discussion.

To learn more about SCFG or the upcoming event, or to get involved, e-mail jabr.L@neu.edu or call (617) 620-6620.
