Gratitudes

The letter at right was sent to Taranjeev Walia of Children's Injury Prevention program and Christine Locke in Child Advocacy.

Dear Taranjeev and Christine,

Thank you for the injury prevention information and for helping to educate our children. Thank you so much for the beautiful selection of bike helmets. We really appreciate the help to keep our children safe. They had been looking for helmets and were so excited to get those.

Thank you for fitting the children for their helmets and for fitting our special needs classes too; I feel they're even more at risk and that they'll use them. The first graders, of course, loved their helmets and proudly wore them into class after the fitting. The highlight of my day, however, was when four or so students put their helmets back on when they got on the bus. They were so proud!

One of these classes wrote notes. Thank you from all the students—I really appreciate the consistent support of Children's Hospital Boston.

Sincerely,
Cathy Coutre
