"Con los brazos abiertos" for better health
On Saturday, Sept. 24, the Martha Eliot Health Center in Jamaica Plain hosted its annual health fair, called "Con los brazos abiertos" ("With open arms"). More than 725 free health screenings, on everything from blood pressure to osteoporosis, were performed. Twenty-two local organizations also distributed information on the health-related services they provide.
