Resident graduation

On June 25, Children's and the Boston Combined Residency Program held their annual graduation grand rounds and awards program. In addition to the graduation of 40 residents, the following were honored with awards: Daniel O'Connor, MD, and Maureen O'Brien, MD (pictured) received the Senior Resident Teaching Award; residents Jennifer Lord Susmann, MD, Heather McLauchlan, MD, Pearl Riney, MD, and attending physicians Jeff Lasker, MD, and John Watkins, MD, received Student Teaching Awards; Bryce Binstadt, MD, received the Fellow Teaching Award; Stella Kouren Banos, MD, received the Charles A. Janeway Award; and Christy Duncan, MD, and Rebekah Mannix, MD, received the Sidney Farber Award. In addition, Thorne Griscom, MD, received special faculty recognition, and Carlos Rivera, patient service associate on 9 East, was honored with an Unsung Hero Award for the second time in his career.
