The Kelly family donated blood and books on July 28, in honor of their youngest family member, Ryan, who was born with a critical heart problem that was corrected by Children's Hospital Boston cardiac surgeon Francis Fynn-Thompson. One year later, Ryan is doing great. And for his first birthday, the Kellys asked that he receive books from friends and family to be donated to the hospital.
