To Children’s Hospital Boston’s staff, and more importantly, William Harmon, MD, and the Kidney Transplant Program
I have put my life in the hands of Children’s staff since I first came to this hospital at 9 days old. I have been truly blessed to have world-class medical care given to me by Dr. Harmon, the Kidney Transplant Program, its nurses, doctors, surgeons and all of Children’s. However, the time has come for me to move on to a hospital with adult care, which is a tough thing for me to do.
I want to thank you very much for providing me with exceptional medical care, professionalism, information, knowledge, kindness and friendly faces. Through the years, Dr. Harmon and his team have solved my medical issues so I could get on with my life. It hasn’t been an easy road, but they’ve always gotten me back on my feet as soon as possible. I can’t say enough about Children’s and its staff.
I have grown to be comfortable and confident with Children’s as my home away from home for the past 30 years. There were many highs and lows, but the staff at Children’s made it all so much easier. I will miss everyone. Unfortunately, I can’t do or say anything to express what Children’s has given me except to say thank you! Children’s is a special place!
