Making miracles happen one step at a time

ore than 2,300 walkers laced up their sneakers on June 19 to take part in Children’s 2nd annual pledge walk, Miles for Miracles. Among the walkers were many hospital employees, who formed teams including Child Life’s “Foxy Ladies,” ISD’s “Gaggle of Geeks” and the Finance Department’s “Foot Soldiers,” who fielded the largest team with 107 members. In addition to the fitness and fun, the event likely will meet its $450,000 goal, raising essential funds for the hospital.
