The following note was sent to Children's Hospital Boston's President and CEO James Mandell, MD, and Chief Operating Officer Sandra Fenwick regarding the grand opening celebrations for Main South, the hospital's clinical building expansion.

Not only was it a thrill to have the opportunity to glimpse Main South, the celebration with employees and recognition for all the planning efforts around the newest addition to Children's Hospital Boston were wonderful. You truly hit the mark! The celebration reflected style, whimsy, deserved boastfulness, pride, gratitude, enthusiasm, respect, camaraderie, recognition, cleverness, and vision—all the right stuff. Last night (with family and friends) and today (with colleagues), I've been bubbling about technology and design features of Main South. The Nursing staff who led our tour are obviously so anxious to get moved in, up and running!
