Volunteer recognition

he Volunteer Services Department held its annual recognition dinner on May 6, honoring 31 volunteers for 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 years of service. Jonathan Pride, pictured far left, recipient of the sixth annual Bob Groden Distinguished Service Award, joins past awardees (l to r) Jack Stuart, Michelle Gordon, Bob Magner and Todd Quinto. Bess Pappas, pictured with her husband Chris, was honored for 30 years of volunteer service. Pappas has given over 45,000 hours as founder and director of the Hellenic Cardiac Program at Children’s Hospital Boston. During the past year, over 700 individuals volunteered at Children’s.
