with the addition of the Karp Family Research Laboratories and the
new clinical building expansion, the Longwood campus is just not
big enough for all the activity that goes on at Children’s.
In leased space near the hospital and in our two buildings on Autumn
Street, a number of Children’s departments are located throughout
the neighborhood. Here is a guide to help you find them.
1 Autumn Street
With renovations completed at the end of May, Human Resources
moved from 333 Longwood Avenue to their new offices on the first
floor of 1 Autumn.
Over the summer, the Children’s Hospital Trust
will follow when they move in on the second and third floors from
their offices in Brookline, and the Training Rooms
and Help Desk will move into the lower level when
they relocate from Binney Street.

21–27 Burlington Avenue
Leased by Children’s since 1998, 21–27 Burlington has
been home to Otolaryngology, Nephrology Research
and Orthopaedics Research. However, these departments
will be moving into Enders over the summer.
Longwood Galleria
Few people may know that above the Longwood Galleria Food Court
are offices that belong to Children’s Medical Staff,
Physicians Organization, and International Center.
1295 Boylston
Just a base hit from Fenway Park, 1295 Boylston houses Finance,
Research Finance, Children’s Hospital Medical Center, and
Information Services. Clinical Research
programs include the Child Development Unit, Brazelton Touchpoints
Center and The Center of Adolescent Substance Abuse
Research (CeASAR).
21 Autumn Street
With new neighbors next door at 1 Autumn, the Children’s occupants
at 21 Autumn include Cardiology, Child Advocacy, Public
Affairs, Marketing, Intellectual Property Office, Children’s
Employee Day Care, and the new Devon Nicole House
for patient families.
20 Overland Street
The Department of Medicine’s Finance offices
have been located at 20 Overland since March of this year. The approximately
30 employees that work there are near the Beacon Street and Landmark
parking lots.
