Honoring our volunteers

On Wednesday, May 18, Volunteer Services hosted its annual recognition dinner, honoring 21 volunteers who have served at Children's Hospital Boston for a multiple of five years. Senior Vice President of Patient Care Operations Eileen Sporing, MSN, RN, welcomed and thanked the volunteers for their dedication to the hospital. Service pins were then given out to volunteers, including Marion Clark, who was honored for 40 years of service, and Anne Gamble and Patricia Squire, who received their 25 year pins. This year's Bob Groden Distinguished Service Award was presented to Sylvia Kushner. Five Customer Service Awards were given to Alice Haveles, Patricia Levi, Harriet Robinson, Lillian Shulman and Dorothea Wright-Swadel.
