It's all about access

On Monday, June 6, Children's Hospital Boston at Waltham welcomed its first patients, delivering the top-notch care associated with the Longwood campus in a convenient location outisde the city.

In an effort to raise awareness of Children's at Waltham, schedulers, practice staff and other hospital employees are proudly displaying items touting the benefits of the new site.

Pin-on buttons and posters featuring the parking garage tickets you won't need in Waltham (the parking's free) and Big Apple Circus Clown Care tellingly crammed into a closet hint at the ease of care out west. Staff are even sending reminder magnets home with patient families who book appointments in Waltham.
