Elizabeth R. Woods, MD, MPH, Adolescent/ Young Adult Medicine
Dr. Elizabeth Woods, a graduate of Harvard Medical School and the Harvard School of Public Health, completed her pediatric residency and fellowship in Adolescent Medicine at Children's Hospital Boston. She is currently an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School, and Associate Chief, Director of the Boston HAPPENS (HIV Adolescent Provider and Peer Education Network of Services) Program, and Director of Quality Improvement for the Division of Adolescent/Young Adult Medicine. She is also the Evaluator for the research study in the Young Parents Program. Dr. Woods has authored over 57 original articles, and 12 reviews and chapters in the areas of health services research, program evaluation, quality improvement, stds, adolescent risk behaviors, teen pregnancy, and HIV services and care. In addition to her many roles, she is a member of the Adolescent Research Advisory Committee for the national Pediatric AIDS Clinical Trials Group. She also provides expert adolescent medicine clinical care, consultation, and teaching at the Longwood campus and the Lexington satellite.
