| Linda Poznauskis, RT,
Diagnostic Radiology
Linda joined the radiology staff in 1972 after graduating from Northeastern
University and the Children’s Hospital Radiologic Technology Program.
She became director of Radiologic Technology and Clinical Coordinator
in 1989. During her time here Linda has distinguished herself in
many areas. She has been instrumental in developing and maintaining
the relationships between Radiology and the Radiologic Technology
Programs at Bunker Hill Community College and the Massachusetts
College of Pharmacy, ensuring a steady flow of new technologists
who will continue the department’s tradition of delivering high-quality
pediatric radiology services. Linda is a leader who encourages,
respects and supports staff from all areas and disciplines in the
department, but first and foremost she is the technologist’s biggest
advocate. Linda is always available as an invaluable resource to
technologists, administrators, support staff and faculty. She has
never lost focus on what is truly important: patient care. Linda
fosters an environment that demands and rewards excellence, encourages
learning and professional growth and remains interesting and fun.
The hospital is celebrating Linda’s 30 years of service, but those
who have observed her regular 60-hour weeks realize that she has
worked the equivalent of 45 years. Children’s wouldn’t be the world
renowned hospital that it is today without people like Linda, who
are willing to make providing services for children and families
their first priority. |
