Volunteers give a total of 60,000 hours to Children's each year, providing a multitude of services in support of patient care and hospital operations. Child Life Week was the week of March 12. One of the main events was the annual Puppy Pre-Op held in the Patient Entertainment Center, where hundreds of children took a stuffed puppy through a typical hospital experience.
