There was record attendance at February’s Open Meetings: Hundreds of employees braved the cold (or attended via Breeze) to hear hospital updates focusing on justifiable costs and IT innovations. Open Meetings will be held again on May 8 at 8:30 a.m. and May 12 at noon in Enders Auditorium.
Stroll with a goal
Start your summer with a walk along the Charles and help support Children’s. Register to walk seven or two miles at NSTAR’s Walk for Children’s June 14. It will be a fun day with music, food and family activities. For more information: childrenshospital.org/walk or 866-303-WALK.
A little cheer goes the distance
You don’t have to be a runner to participate in the Boston Marathon® on April 20. You can hoot, holler and high-five from the sidelines, cheering on runners who’ve raised money for Children’s as part of the Miles for Miracles Team Boston.
Runners need every bit of inspiration during the grueling race. And for those cheering, it’s a great opportunity to spend time with family and friends, watch the race, and help Children’s. Look for Children’s cheering sections at St. Paul’s Church in Wellesley (13-mile mark), Centre Street in Newton (20-mile mark), and Bretton Realty in Brookline (25-mile mark).
