"As part of my promotion from Administrative Associate III to Administrative
Associate IV, my supervisor suggested I take a class called Administrative
Skills: Module B Through the Boston
Health Care and Research Training Institute. In this class,
I learned following how to set goals and make sure that they are
properly carried out, guidelines for constructive feedback, how
to properly write and edit memos, e-mails and business letters,
and how to effectively work with different types of learners and
thinkers. Taking this class brought out a lot in me. I'm now able
to see blind spots that I did not know I had, respond and handle
situations differently, and always keep in mind that it takes everyone's
effort to achieve goals. I would strongly recommend this class to
others who are in an Administrative Associate position." -- Shawna
Howard, Patient Services.
